Welcome to Calvary Chapel Alpharetta!

Whether this is your first time at Calvary, or you are a returning visitor, we want you to know that you are welcome and loved! We hope that your online experience will help you to become better acquainted with us and will encourage you to visit us in person. More importantly, we hope that you'll become more acquainted with the God who created you.

What to Expect

Come as You Are

For some, this means jeans and a t-shirt; for others it means a suit and tie. We have no dress code. We’re genuinely interested in you, not your attire. When you visit CCA, we want you to feel at home.

Pursuit of Jesus

Our sole aim is to know Christ and to make Him known. Our love for Him compels us to worship in truth, study and obey His Word, and lay down our lives. Our love for others necessitates that we share the Gospel, serve His people, and equip His saints.

Verse-by-Verse Teaching

In the book of Hebrews, we are told that "the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (4:12).  Likewise, in 2 Timothy we are told that all Scripture is "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, [and] for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (3:16-17).

For these reasons, we place great emphasis on verse-by-verse exposition of Scripture. We believe that faith comes by hearing the Word (Romans 10:17) and change occurs by applying the truths it presents.

Environment of Grace

Humility towards others begins with the acknowledgement of who one is before God. At CCA, we are keenly aware of who we were, who we are, and who we are to become. We do not "put on airs" of formality and religiosity, but cultivate an environment of "realness" with God and one another.

Whether you are curious about God, struggling in your walk, or grounded in His ways, you will be loved and exhorted to wholeheartedly and passionately pursue Jesus Christ. The ground is level at the foot of the cross and it is level at CCA.

Kid-Friendly Environment

We have something for everyone, so bring your kids with you. Your children (infants to 5th grade) will have a blast while learning from age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum. Middle and high school students will have fun learning how to worship and study about God while growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ with their peers.

All children go through a secure and easy check-in process that assures their safety. Parents or guardians are given a ticket with a unique code that allows only you to pick them up. Be assured that our entire staff of trained, competent, and caring volunteers have undergone a thorough background check and training before they’re allowed to serve in your child's classroom.
